FAQ
What does Demand and Viewers mean in your auction images?
When you elect to have us display an image on your auction page, the gauges describe how popular your auction is. However, we know you don't want visitors to know exactly how many people are viewing your site. The terms Demand and Viewers describe how many times your page has been viewed and how many people are currently viewing your auction.
Demand is related to the number of unique visitors that have looked at your auction page. Instead of showing this number directly, the number of unique visitors is altered with a scaling factor and then shown in a 0-100 scale. A value of 0 means nobody has visited your auction site yet. A value of 100 means many people have visited the page.
If someone visits your auction page from a work computer and a home computer, this will count as 2 unique visits. Likewise, if someone visits the page from more than one computer (or more than one browser on a computer), this will count as multiple visits.
Viewers is related to the number of people currently viewing your auction page. Like Demand, the actual number is scaled and shown in a 0-100 scale. A value of 0 means nobody is currently viewing your auction page, and a value of 100 means many people are viewing your auction page.
